Foto Friday: Working for Tomorrow

Scroll down to content

Foto-Friday, every Friday a new picture

Some weeks the picture doesn’t need so many words.

This is one of those weeks

Some months back there was a small easement of the lockdown.

We were allowed to leave our neighbourhoods

So I went to one of my favourite photography spots

A small fishing village a few clicks up the coast

I got there quite early, just as the boats were coming back with the day’s catch

There was many pictures I wanted, but I decided it was a bit too intrusive

…this isn’t some tourist spot but a fully functional fishing community.

They looked very busy and didn’t need me getting under their feet!

The hive of activity on the beach slowly ceased, folks returned to their beachside homes

Just one guy was left, working hard to prepare for the next day’s catch
