Continuing the blog serialisation of my popular X-Pro Series lust/hate/love story:
Part 138: Forwarders CC and the X-Pro1 Colour Images
This week’s article is a photo story from a shoot we did a few months back
Working with João Salvador this is an Instagram based project tasking itself with raising awareness of Portuguese cycling culture.
For the first session I completed with Forwarders.CC I used the X-Pro2, for the second I selected the X-Pro1 for a monochrome shoot.
For the third session I decided that I wanted to stay with the X-Pro1, but this time to shoot colour images.
I think the X-Pro1 has a special look to its images, both monochrome and colour. We started early in the day and met up with the rider before heading out into the Portuguese countryside to do our shoot.
As I’ve written in previous articles about these shoots in quite some detail (hanging out of cars etc!) for this instalment, we can just look at the pictures!
Before a long cycle…
Mirror, signal, maneuverer
A tranquil rest
An exciting challenge.
Taking it all in
Having used the the X-Pro1 for the previous session I had no doubts I could get what João and I wanted. Although the shots I used here have been mainly static, we used other shots of the rider in motion
The rider (Barbara) was happy with the shots and we all enjoyed doing the photoshoot.
