Christmas high streets during the Covid crisis were eerily quiet this year.. no crowds, no bustle
It was, well to my mind at least, a very tangible manifestation of the year that we’d all had…
It looked like Christmas
It seemed like Christmas
But there was a missing ingredient…
…people
Usually the streets would have been swarming with shoppers, instead they were rather threadbare
That said there were still some people and even with a reduced crowd some things remain the same… and that is that…
…Christmas shopping is always somehow still exhausting to do!
