As regular readers will know (or occasional ones that read that series) Fujifilm were kind enough to lend me a XF56APD for 10 days
That 56… It’s a big ol’ heavy beast (in the context of APSC), it’s a bit slow to focus, the DOF at 1.2 is ridiculously thin, making it occasionally difficult to get a decent shot out of… and if I wished to purchase one, it cost about as much as the camera.
The busyness of a living street scene can always be a challenge… But the charm of a lens like the 56 (85 FF Eqv) is that you can generally still pick out your subject, even in a busy scene.
It’s gone back to Fuji now… Man I still miss it
