Light and Dark

Photography is often correctly referred too as ‘Painting with Light’

It’s true! No light, no picture!

But the way the camera sees light is very different from the eye

The camera can open its ‘eye’ for longer or shorter amounts of time, to see more or less, but the human eye is capable of seeing a greater dynamic range than the camera (the human eye can see a greater range of tonal values in a single ‘shot’)

Night Fall

For me.. I like to contrast light with dark, something bright, works well with something dark.
