December 1st would of been my late father’s birthday.
This year it also saw an unseasonably warm day, it wasn’t a day to be wasted, but equally it was a little bittersweet to be happy about the weather yet sad about the date
I have a ‘bit’ of a thing for washing lines, I enjoy that they’re both public and intimate!
This thought (on washing lines) was particularly on point that day, as that’s how I felt – outside in glorious weather, the people I saw were jubilant, but my inside intimacy was also a little on display!
I’m sure no one could guess why my smile wasn’t quite as abundant as it could’ve been..
…but that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate about the washing line!
This beachside line features rugs and wetsuits…
…perhaps someone came in from surfing with wet feet!
