Where I live just commenced its lockdown.
Cases are spiralling. Hospitals are overwhelmed. People are dying.
After a subdued, but pleasant festive season there’s no denying the harsh reality of 2021.
A healthy fear of crowds is important. Just remember they also fear you! As ever there’s plenty of negative rhetoric online about the true severity of the virus and the safety of the vaccine…
…and you know what? None of that matters, it’s the only way out of this situation and the way out can be the only common goal.
Believe what you like, but I chose to believe in hope. I chose to believe in a return to an integrated society.
We might all have to avoid people for a while yet..
But for those people that you’re allowed to be close too, hold them near, hold them tight and I think that we’ll get through this together
