Foto-Friday, every Friday a new picture
A brief relaxation of the travel rules meant that I could take a trip back to my original home country (hence no Foto-Friday for a fortnight)
I hadn’t seen some family members and friends for nearly a year!
For me, it’s always a little strange to travel back home (sic) after so long..
I grew up in a pretty small place; calm, quiet and somehow empty. You’re happy growing up, but then you reach an age where you want to see more and reach more..
..and suddenly home seems little
Then you visit after a prolonged absence and after some days it becomes a familiar place without a timeframe
I’m happy where I live now!
And before my trip..
..I took a long walk round some of the most obvious sights in Porto, and filled my senses with my adopted home, because here too is a familiar place without a timeframe and that makes me very happy
