Friday arrives so it’s Foto-Friday time!
An increasingly rare (for me) BW shot this week!
And unlike last week’s entry I’d like to think that we can agree this is firmly categorised as a street shot..
Taken not where I live, but not so very far from home, it was the culmination of one of those, let’s have a nice day out and take some photos type trips
Headed back to the transport to return home I happened across this scene.
Not wishing to disturb anything, it was a job for a zone focus and a hip shot and the inevitable acceptance that a bit of straighten, nip and tuck would be required in post.
It came out fairly straight and needed very little to match the image I had previsualised! Whenever that happens I tend to be satisfied and believing that like some sort of wild west cowboy I can now effortlessly shoot from the waist!! Of course after this positive self reinforcement the next attempts are generally disasterous!
But I’m pleased with this one, I consider it a strong image and BW was the clearly the way!
